PHION, Independent Scholarship Program for Holonomic Studies is an autonomous institution developed in support for the discipline of continuous self-education. PHION (ISP) may be distinguished from other educational institutions in that it supports an autodidactic atmosphere--encouraging knowledge and understanding to develop through various methods of self-teaching.

The symbolic intention of the "Oak Tree" logo is three-fold: 1) as an oak tree is the fully realized potential of an acorn, so PHION (ISP) serves as a means of fully realizing individual potential through life-long study and application towards emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth; 2) as an oak tree contains the image of its entirety in every part--down from the roots, to the trunk and branches, up to the outer limbs and twigs-PHION (ISP) follows the natural order of holographic reality, incorporating a holarchical system of organization, and applying a holistic approach to projects and studies; 3) as an oak tree is a vital, evolving, impermanent system of life energy--so PHION (ISP) is a system in support of the vitality, evolution, and impermanence of the individual and society.

The PHION (ISP), Institution for Holonomic Processes is formed of three subdivisions--each acting as an interdependent facility, and conduit for the three major modes of holonomic information processing:

Hyper-Meme Labs: Memetic Engineering & Hyper-Media Communications
[Information Expression]

Sentient-Spectrum Systems: Research and Development towards Sentient Systems & BioTechnological Organization [Information Accumilation]

Neo-Mystical Temple: Trancendental Becoming & Attunment to Ecstatic Experience [Information Attunement]
