Shantok Boli Node (1997): [KPT Bryce 2.0] Okay, in the land of Shantok, these trippy reflective balls are the living entities--called Boli. This node, near lake Non, is charging up this Boli with energy... before swimming. I just made that all up. I would say that the geometry of this node was inspired by the "spaceship" in Carl Sagan's contact--except I hadn't seen that movie before I made this. Whao... After I upgraded from KTP Bryce 2.0 to 3.0--I took this image and animated it with the Boli spinning inside, while the camera zooms in, and the clouds stream by. :) |
