The Sands of Shantok (1997): [KPT Bryce 2.0] Okay, in the land of Shantok, these trippy reflective balls are the living entities--called Boli. This Boli is desperately trying to hide from the advancing UFOs, which I imagine are this star system's equivalent to a fleet of Empire Tie Fighters--coming to round up Boli slaves for their local vluxonium mining facility. Don't worry, the Boli are magical and wonderous entites--capable of multi-dimension travel and shape shifting. The only reason this Boli is attemtping to hide, however, is because Bolian hyper-dimensional re-materialization requires an almost infinite amount of energy--and Bolian conservatory policy states that a Boli must not exercise it's powers until all other possible alternatives are exhausted. Talk about infinite wisdom. This Boli will survive. |
